Two color poster

The goal with this poster was emulate the sound of Jazz through use of type. Wanting to merge the they type with the image, I chose to use Broadway, with its large contrast, it created fields of color that blend with the background. The colors that were choses for this piece look to the notion of Jazz music being elevator music, something so normal yet so different once someone looks closely into it.
